9/11@25: Ceremony mixes remembrance with respect for those who serve
Tarrytown Fire Chief Raymond Tuohy and Sleepy Hollow Fire Chief Steven Bencosme lead a salute.

“Twenty-five years after the attacks of September 11, we pause to remember a day that changed our nation and touched lives across the world,” Tarrytown Fire Chief Raymond Tuohy said.

Tuohy spoke on the morning of Sunday, Sept. 6, at a ceremony in Patriots Park marking the 25th anniversary of 9/11. Firefighters from Tarrytown and Sleepy Hollow attended, along with elected officials and residents.
