Washington Mews seeks easement for lot access

In pursuit of the easement required to go forward with their mixed-use project, the developer of Washington Mews gave a presentation before the board of trustees on July 7.

Since first proposed three years ago, the plan, which encompasses 9-17 Washington Avenue, has received six variances from the zoning board and is awaiting view preservation and site plan approval from the planning board. The easement with the Village is needed for a proposed exterior staircase and pocket garden.
