After receiving its license from New York State on Sept. 9, The Highline is one step closer to opening as the first cannabis dispensary in Hastings.
In 2021, by a vote of 3-2, the Hastings Board of Trustees opted out of allowing cannabis consumption lounges, but not dispensaries, in the village. Ardsley, Dobbs Ferry, and Irvington opted out of dispensaries and lounges in time for the State-imposed deadline of Dec. 31, 2021.
