Elected officials in the Rivertowns and the Town of Greenburgh are denouncing recent actions by federal immigration and border patrol
Of the public and private performance spaces in the Rivertowns, none were designed for the demands of dance.
To fill that need, Hastings resident Morgan McEwen and her contemporary ballet company, MorDance, plan to transform a raw industrial space at Hudson River Landing in Dobbs Ferry, located at 145 Palisade Street, into a performing arts venue for themselves and the community.
Next Friday, Jan. 23, the public will be able to enter that space when MorDance hosts its first open rehearsal there from 6:30–8 p.m. The evening will allow audience members to observe the creative process, and ask questions, as dancers shape a new work to premiere this spring.
