Less than a month into his tenure as executive director of the nonprofit Jazz Forum Arts, Darrian Douglas has landed one of his dream bookings — Grammy-winning vocalist Cécile McLorin Salvant, who will headline a fundraiser in December.
On July 1, Douglas and Chief Operating Officer Clara Winder, a Dobbs Ferry native, succeeded Jazz Forum Arts founder Mark Morganelli and his wife, Ellen Prior, who retired after 41 years. Douglas had been director of programs since 2025, while Winder started as a marketing associate in 2017, and then became the marketing manager in 2021, and marketing director in 2023.
