Rivertowns Playhouse stages Pulitzer finalist

At age 15, Heidi Schreck traveled to American Legion halls across the country giving speeches about the U.S. Constitution in a scholarship contest. She won — again and again — and eventually paid for her entire college tuition with prize earnings. Decades later, as a celebrated actress, playwright, and screenwriter, Schreck transformed that unusual chapter of her life into the critically acclaimed play “What the Constitution Means to Me,” a finalist for the 2019 Pulitzer Prize for Drama and nominee for two Tony Awards.
