This Dispatch Discussion will cover housing affordability, one of the biggest challenges facing our community with nearly half of people in Westchester County paying more than a third of their income towards housing costs. Moderated by Rivertowns Dispatch Podcast host Timothy Reuter, this panel discussion will feature perspectives from three Rivertown housing affordability committees as well as advocates on what does affordability mean in our communities and what levers do we have to make life here more affordable for those who work here, those who want to age in place, and those who want to move here. We will also discuss how housing affordability may be influencing politics locally, nationally, and internationally.
