Ask the Dispatch: How do you turn a library into a mini-golf course?
Library director Erik Carlson

A cold weekend might be a good time to visit a local library and get a few books, a library card, and… a hole in one? This weekend at the Dobbs Ferry Public Library, visitors can ask for golf clubs in addition to books as the library will be transformed into a mini-golf course.

In the Friends of the Dobbs Ferry Library’s latest fundraising effort, adults are invited to play mini-golf and bid on items in a silent auction on Friday, Jan. 30, from 6–10 p.m. On Saturday, Jan. 31, all ages can play from 10 a.m.–5 p.m., and on Saturday night, from 6–9 p.m., teenagers are invited to take a swing, with pizza and soda available. The cost to attend the event is $5 for adults, $3 for kids and teenagers. There is no need to register in advance.
