Elected officials in the Rivertowns and the Town of Greenburgh are denouncing recent actions by federal immigration and border patrol agents. The Village of Irvington and the Town of Greenburgh lowered flags on municipal property to half-staff for a week in observance of the deaths of Renée Good, who was shot by an immigration officer on Jan. 7, and Alex Pretti, who was shot by immigration officers on Jan. 24 — both in Minneapolis.
