E-bike program rolls out along the river

Dobbs Ferry joins four other municipalities

Dobbs Ferry now has its first-ever electronic bike-sharing program, with 36 bikes spread among six stations in the village.

Facilitated by a Westchester County partnership called Project MOVER, the program was launched with a ribbon-cutting on Tuesday, July 15, at the Dobbs Ferry Public Library, which is one of the stations along with Waterfront Park, Memorial Park, the intersection of Cedar and Main streets, mid-Cedar Street, and Gould Park. The initiative in Dobbs Ferry is paid for in full by a grant awarded through the New York State Energy Research and Development Authority.
