Event personalizes veterans on banners

“He was one hell of a man — a father, a grandfather, a husband, and an incredible friend. Everyone who knew him was blessed,” Nicole Sanchez said about her father, Robert Baulieu, a U.S. Air Force veteran who served from 1969–1974. An Ardsley native and jet-engine mechanic, Baulieu graduated from Ardsley High School when it was located across from Village Hall. “He was my hero. He was respected everywhere he went,” Sanchez added, holding up some of his medals and commendations as she spoke.
