Dr. Nitin Gupta, who helped vaccinate the community during the Covid-19 pandemic, has been appointed to the Dobbs Ferry Board of Trustees, taking the seat of Christy Knell, who was elected mayor on Nov. 4.
Gupta was chosen by Knell to serve the remaining year of her two-year trustee term. Knell and Gupta were sworn in during the village board’s reorganization meeting on Monday, Dec. 1.
