Little free library tells story of community service

Three little free lending libraries — each brimming with books — stand in Ardsley thanks to Joshua Lonergan, a 2023 Ardsley High School graduate who built the structures as his Eagle Scout project nearly two years ago. 

Working alongside fellow members of Boy Scout Troop 3, Lonergan constructed and installed the libraries with a simple mission in mind: take a book, leave a book.

That spirit of goodwill was briefly shaken this past November.
