Rare medical condition spurs alliance and fundraising

ARDSLEY — The black, red, yellow, and green tarps were empty at the start of the mass casualty drill at Pascone Park on the evening of Thursday, June 20.
The Ardsley-Secor Volunteer Ambulance Corps (ASVAC) hosted the drill, which was also attended by members of the Irvington and Tarrytown volunteer ambulance corps.
The “casualties” were 29 students, including Boy Scouts and Girl Scouts, who wore hangtags around their necks that listed their fictional ages and medical conditions.
