Douglas to add star power to film screening

The revitalization of an historic theater on Cedar Street, along with the transformation of the plaza outside the Dobbs Ferry Public Library, are among six private proposals made for the $4.5 million NY Forward grant the Village of Dobbs Ferry was awarded earlier this year by New York State.
The private projects were revealed during a public meeting at Village Hall on Thursday, Aug. 21. The Dobbs Ferry Board of Trustees shared six proposals of their own on Aug. 12, which was reported in the Aug. 15 issue of the Dispatch.
