Shows add twists to the holiday season
For those who subscribe to the adage that December is the most wonderful time of the year, Irvington Theater is
Margaret Rowan, a Dobbs Ferry resident of more than 20 years, is a familiar figure to children and families throughout Westchester. In addition to raising a family of her own, Rowan has worked in early childhood education for 47 years. She recently retired as director of the Early Childhood Center at Memorial United Methodist Church in White Plains, which followed her stint as director of Bright Horizons at South Westchester Executive Park in Yonkers. For the past 11 years, Rowan has also worked part time as a consultant for Cultural Care Au Pair, where she has helped support more than 100 families as they welcome au pairs into their homes. She also volunteers with a number of organizations, all of which help support children in need.
