Elected officials in the Rivertowns and the Town of Greenburgh are denouncing recent actions by federal immigration and border patrol
In 2024, when Lewis (“Lew”) Stiefel and his wife, Judy Kalvin, signed up for a CPR training class at the Ardsley-Secor Volunteer Ambulance Corps (ASVAC), Stiefel didn’t think he’d end up spending more than a year getting to know the corps’ members.
At the class, besides learning CPR, Stiefel discovered that ASVAC needed help recruiting volunteers. Stiefel, a Dobbs Ferry resident since 2003, has more than 20 years of experience working in video production, including music, sports, documentaries, and more. To help ASVAC, he offered to produce a promotional video for them at no cost.
