Through the sale of donated clothing, shoes, and accessories, priced from $1 to $8, the new Rivertown Thrift pop-up shop is helping to raise $2,500 a month to feed Hastings residents in need.
The Friends of the Hastings Youth Council, a nonprofit run by volunteers, opened the shop at 3 Spring Street on Thursday, Dec. 11, to support the Hastings Food Pantry, which operates every Wednesday at the James Harmon Community Center.
