Elected officials in the Rivertowns and the Town of Greenburgh are denouncing recent actions by federal immigration and border patrol
The owner of the late 19th-century Cosmopolitan Building, located at 50 South Buckhout Street, wants to redevelop the building to include a hotel, spa, event space, restaurant, and residential units.
The 130,000-square-foot, three-story commercial property currently houses several tenants, including the Eileen Fisher Renew store. During a village board of trustees work session on Tuesday, Sept. 9, owner Carlos Pedro, architect Carlos Cardoso, and attorney David Steinmetz presented what Steinmetz described as “conceptual” plans that are “not fully baked” in an effort to get early feedback on the concept.
