When a street festival fills a downtown with families, music, and vendors, it may look like a community success. But for some business owners, road closures and parking restrictions make it harder for customers to stop by. Lelia Jimenez believes those business owners deserve a seat at the table.

As the new executive director of the Rivertowns Chamber of Commerce, Jimenez sees the Chamber as a bridge between local businesses and village leaders, raising concerns before they become problems while supporting events that bring people together.
